At Rush we take care of your business's information. This policy explains what data Rush Systems, C.A. ("Rush", "we"), processes, for what purposes, who it is shared with and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Rush Systems, C.A., a Venezuelan company.
For any privacy matter, including exercising the rights in section 9, write to us at info@somosrush.io. A person answers, not a form.
2. Data we collect
- Contact data: your name, your hardware store's name and your WhatsApp number, when you sign up for the early access list.
- What you tell us about your business: if you answer the optional questions in the form, we store how many branches you have, how you run the store today, what is hardest to control, how many products you handle and how urgently you want to solve it. It helps us arrive prepared to the conversation and decide who to call first. You can skip them and we still write to you.
- Your business data: the information you load into Rush, such as sales, products, inventory, costs, cash and customers.
- Usage data: basic technical information about how you use the platform, to keep it running and improve it.
- Browsing data on somosrush.io: if you accept analytics, we record which pages you view, where you arrive from, your device type and a recording of your session on the site, with form fields masked. If you do not accept, we only count the visit anonymously.
- What your browser sends on its own: loading any website sends your IP address, browser type and language. From the IP our provider infers the country and approximate city; we store the country and the city, we do not store the IP.
- Where you came from: if you arrive from an ad, a shared link or a search engine, we store that origin alongside your record. It is what tells us which channel works.
3. What we use the data for
- Provide the service: organize your information and show you the state of your business and what needs attention.
- Operate account access (verification via WhatsApp).
- Improve Rush and fix errors.
- Communicate with you about the service.
- Send you Rush news and content useful for your hardware store by email or WhatsApp. You can tell us to stop whenever you like, by replying to the message or writing to info@somosrush.io.
- Measure and improve our advertising: know which ad or channel brought you here, and avoid showing you again what you have already seen.
We do not sell your data. Full stop. What we do is measure our own advertising: if you arrive from an ad, we want to know that ad worked, and for that we use tools from the platforms where we advertise. That only switches on if you accept analytics in the cookie notice.
4. Basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of your consent when using the platform, the performance of the service relationship and compliance with legal obligations applicable to Rush Systems.
5. Retention
We do not keep anything indefinitely. These are the periods:
- Early access list: while the list is open and up to 24 months from the last time we spoke. After that it is deleted or reduced to figures without names.
- Your business data in Rush: while you have an account. If you close it, we keep the data for 90 days so you can take it with you, and then it is deleted.
- Billing: whatever the applicable tax law requires, which can be several years.
- Session recordings on the site: 30 days.
- Usage analytics: up to 24 months.
You can ask us to delete your data before those periods, as explained in section 9.
6. Who we share it with
With no one beyond the providers we need in order to operate, all under confidentiality obligations, and with whoever the law obliges us to. This is the complete list, no small print:
- Vercel — hosts the site and the function that saves your record.
- Supabase — the database where the early access list lives.
- Resend — sends us the email notice that you signed up.
- Web3Forms — backup only, if the notice above fails.
- PostHog — site analytics and recordings. Only if you accept, and with form fields masked.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to write to us there, or for account access verification.
- Chatwoot — the chat in the corner, and the inbox where your WhatsApp and Instagram messages reach us. The website chat only appears on desktop.
- Google Fonts — the site typeface loads from their servers, which makes your browser send them your IP address.
We do not sell your data and we do not hand it to anyone so they can sell you something else.
7. International transfers
Your data leaves Venezuela: there is no way to run cloud software without that happening. Here is exactly where it sits:
- The early access list lives in a database hosted in Ireland (European Union).
- The function that receives the form runs in the United States (Virginia).
- The email that notifies us is sent from Ireland.
- The support chat and the messages you write there are processed by Chatwoot in the United States (Virginia).
- Analytics, if you accept them, are processed by PostHog in the United States.
- The site pages are served from whichever server is closest to you, which may be on any continent. There is no data of yours there, only the website.
We require contractual confidentiality and security commitments from each provider, and we choose those that encrypt data in transit and at rest.
8. Security
We apply reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission. No system is 100% foolproof, but we work to reduce risks.
9. Your rights
About your data you can ask us to tell you what we hold, to correct it, to hand it to you in a file, to delete it, or to stop using it for news and advertising. Write to info@somosrush.io from the email or WhatsApp you gave us and we resolve it within a maximum of 30 days. We do not charge for this and you do not need to explain why.
Rush is a work tool for businesses and is not directed at people under 18.
10. Cookies and local storage
Rush uses storage in your browser mainly so the site works, not to track you for advertising purposes. You can see the details and manage your preferences in our Cookie Policy.
